Hear from our internship alumni

“What I have loved most about my internship with Maxar has been the challenge of exploring an industry that had been unfamiliar to me, as well as being blessed with a role and responsibilities where I could use both my skills and my passions. My fellow interns have been phenomenal partners, and I have had wonderful mentors who challenged me in numerous ways.”

-Amina, Business Development Intern

University of Denver, Business Management and International studies

“My team invested a lot in my professional development. Much of my time was spent doing market research, gathering competitive intelligence, and conducting cold outreach. Geospatial data has infinite use cases, and I was able to learn about and pursue a variety of business opportunities. There was never a dull moment. I received mentorship in complex business strategy and asked challenging questions every day. I’m fortunate to start my new career in aerospace and defense with Maxar. “

Will, Sales Development Representative intern
Georgetown University, M.A. Security Studies

“During my internship, I assisted in the shock analysis of individual units and assemblies on various spacecraft programs. The most exciting part of working at Maxar is knowing that what you’re working on is a project that will send some amazing things into outer space! You get real, hands-on experience.”
